DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Down’s syndrome (DS) are among the most pressing public health concerns of this century due to the aging population and absence of effective treatments that are able to reduce cognitive decline. We are seeking a PhD student to join our team in order to investigate basal forebrain circuit dynamics and functional connectivity in DS, and comorbid AD. We employ a variety of methodologies, including behavioral, electrophysiological, optogenetic, and histological techniques.
