DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: Institut de Genomique Fonctionnelle of Montpellier Missions: The "Brain Plasticity, Stem Cells and Glial Tumors" team located at the Institut de Genomique Fonctionnelle of Montpellier (Direction JP Hugnot, H Duffau) is recruiting a bioinformatician at research engineer (RI) or post doc level for a one-year period. The team is working on the constitution and detailed annotation of a biobank of brain tumor cell lines (gliomas) derived from patient resections. In particular, the person will be responsible for analyzing the team's recent datasets (RNA seq and single cell RNA seq), notably via scripts from publications (e.g. SingleCellSignalR, CellChatDB, CellCall, SCENIC, Slingshot, WebCSEA, Panglaodb,Cyclone, neoantigen search, ...). Interaction with Neovision (Grenoble), a company specialized in AI, is also planned. Ideally, the bioinformatician will have a PhD, a background in biology, and experience in bioinformatics analysis of single-cell data. |
