DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: Institut des Sciences Cognitives Missions: The Neuroprime Lab at the University of Lyon, France is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a post doctoral position. We are interested in the transformation of sensory information from visual to spatial representations by characterizing processes upstream the hippocampus in posterior cingulate cortex and retrosplenial cortex in the macaque monkey. We use virtual reality as a mean to control visual input and conduct behavioral analysis (eye movements and navigation) to understand whether and how space is constructed, and supported by neuronal properties.
Qualifications: Ideally you have a background in Neuroscience and/or computer sciences/programming, and experience in neurophysiology, data analysis, and working with non-human primates.
