COMETE is looking for a research engineer to work on the ActiMice project.
Actimice aims at understanding the beneficial effects a voluntary physical activity combined to pharmacological treatments in a mouse model of schizophrenia. The recruited person will be in charge of the follow-up of several groups of mice, through behavior and MRI investigations. He/She will collect and analyze imaging data (diffusion imaging, T2) in regards to relevant published data obtained in schizophrenic patients. The candidate must have a previous experience in MRI analysis and solid knowledge in neuroscience. Authorization for the use of animals for scientific purpose is a prerequisite.
Full time, 35h/week
Eligibility criteria: Applicants must hold a PhD
Skills: previous experience in MRI analysis, solid knowledge in neuroscience, official authorization for the use of animals for scientific purpose (felasa A level at least)
