The selected candidate will work on an interdisciplinary and translational project at testing the effect of novel gene therapy approach in a model of neurodegeneration. This project is funded by the AFM-Telethon (Ignition program) and is also laureate of the Out of the Labs challenge (SATT Linksium). The project includes a wide range of techniques including cell culture (cell lines and primary neurons), viral vector production (lentiviral and AAV vectors), confocal microscopy, surgery, MRI imaging, behavioural tests, histology, biochemistry, metabolomic and molecular biology. The selected candidate will work together with an engineer and master students as well as in collaboration with members of other teams inside and outside the GIN.
