Postdoctoral position - neurosciences in Paris
Postdoctoral position is open to join the team « Axonal growth and regeneration » at Neuroscience Paris Seine department, CNRS UMR 8246, Inserm U1130, Sorbonne University, Faculty of Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC).
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist with an interest on the spinal cord injury and the development of therapeutic strategies for repair.
The post-doc is expected to have a PhD in neuroscience with strong background in animal models of spinal cord injury with good skills in surgery of rodent experimental model, behavior tests for functional recovery, and histology. The post-doc will be involved in a recently developed therapeutic strategy for spinal cord injury repair.
Candidates interested to be committed to take a competitive application for a permanent tenure track position in one of the French national research institutions (CNRS, INSERM), are encouraged.
The laboratory belongs to the Institute Paris Seine, in Neurosciences department ()
Located at the University P&M Curie, in the heart of Paris, Latin quarter.
Finding, is available for a period of one year that could be extended.
Selected candidate could start at the end of 2018.
