Team « Pathophysiology of Parkinsonian Syndroms »

Coordination of several projects dealing with neurodegeneration

 

Our research team at the Institute of Neurodegenerative diseases at the University of Bordeaux recruits a senior post-doctoral researcher for coordinating several projects dealing with neurodegeneration in our two locations, Bordeaux (France) and Beijing (China).

We are looking for a post-doctoral candidate with more than two years after obtaining their PhD that has a background in neurodegeneration and post-mortem processing of brain tissus. Applicants with other specialization possessing scientific curiosity that goes beyond their current research are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has experience in preclinical experiments. The post-doc will participate in shaping challenging, multicultural and multidiscipinary projects and contribute to the research output of the lab in forms of collaborations, presentations and publications. The day-to-day language of the lab is English. Although based in Bordeaux, the post-doc should be willing to travel on a regular basis.

The post-doc position is for a duration of 2 years with starting date as soon as possible (with likely extension). The position is advertised until filled. After a pre-selection process, we will conduct skype interviews with potential candidates.
