PhD position at ICM ¨Pitié-Salpetrière hospital Paris France to develop a clinical research project on dystonia
We are proposing a 3 years PhD position starting september/october 2017 in the team headed by Pr Vidailhet and Pr Lehéricy at ICM in Salpetriere hospital Paris. The candidate will conduct a project devoted to study the brain networks involved in different types of dystonia (ADCY5 and PRRT2) focussing on the interactions between the cerebellum and the striatum. The techniques used will be fMRI and non invasive brain stimulation and also LFPs in patients with DBS.
The project is part of a ANR grant.
The position fits at best a MD or neurologist who is interested in getting a training in clinical neurosciences in the frame of a PhD. Candidates with a scientific training will be also welcomed according to their interest in human physiology.
