DETAILS OF THE OFFER | Working place: University of Caen Normandie / Health department Missions: The SIRENE project proposes to evaluate and restore the vigilance of watch officers on the bridge (the cockpit) of a commercial vessel in order to prevent the risks of accidents related to hypovigilance in a sleep deprived situation. These officers often work staggered hours, day and night, with a work-rest rhythm that is sometimes very intense. This rhythm generates a decrease in vigilance and degraded performance when operating the vessel, affecting in particular the officer's understanding of the situation and his ability to manage new incidents. The approach we propose aims to act directly in the context of the activity on the bridge by proposing a response adapted to the state of vigilance of the officer of the watch. It is based on monitoring the officer and triggering appropriate countermeasures when a critical vigilance threshold is reached. Qualifications:
