PhD student position in the Neuromodulation and Neuroprosthetics team, led by Dr. Fabien Wagner, at the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases, University of Bordeaux, France.

The ideal candidate is passionate about research at the interface between neuroscience and neuroengineering.
He / she has a background in systems / cognitive neuroscience or in biomedical / electrical engineering.
His / her tasks as a PhD student will include in vivo multichannel electrophysiological recordings and electrical brain stimulation in non-human primates performing memory tasks, and a detailed analysis of the collected data.
He / she is familiar with MATLAB or Python, and has possibly some notions of C/C++.
He / she has very good skills in English, a critical approach to scientific literature and is interested in both experimental and computational research.
