Cette thèse se déroulera au sein de l'équipe de Denis Vivien, dans l'équipe Physiopathology and Imaging of Neurological Disorder. L'objectif du candidat recruté sera de démontrer la pertinence des auto-évaluations en pratique clinique, en recherche et pour la détection des troubles psychotiques.

This project aims to understand the role of oxytocin in the suckling activity in normal mouse and pathological mouse models of neurodevelopmental diseases. We want to decipher the neuronal circuitry and mechanism by which oxytocin activates the suckling initiation and maintenance. We will investigate the therapeutic action of oxytocin treatment on early feeding behavior.

 

The 3D Genome and Molecular Neuroscience group headed by Dr Boyan Bonev studies the epigenetic mechanisms of gene regulation during development. The goal of this project is to identify novel factors controlling 3D genome organization during neural development.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, well-organized and modeling-oriented candidate with a degree in Master of Neuroscience, Cognitive Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Good skills in programming (preferentially Python) are required, as well as analytical skills, and a strong interest in human behavior and learning. Previous experience in computational neuroscience and/or inhuman experimentation including psychophysics and eye movements will be greatly appreciated.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and independent candidate with a Master degree in Neuroscience, Cognitive Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. A strong interest in human behavior and decision-making is crucial for the project. Programming (Matlab or Python), as well as analytical skills are required. Previous experience in computational neuroscience and/or in human experimentation including psychophysics, eye movements and/or non-invasive brain stimulation will be greatly appreciated.

Candidates must hold, or expect to complete, a Master’s (M2, MChem, MSc or equivalent such as diploma from Engineering School) degree in chemistry. Successful candidates will have an excellent background in synthetic organic or inorganic chemistry and must be ambitious, creative, and fiercely independent.
Candidates must have an outstanding academic record as evidenced by:

First class undergraduate/Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (or equivalent qualifications) in chemistry

Master’s level experience in synthetic chemistry

Academic awards at university level

Excellent English language skills (written and oral). German is also advantageous.

Le candidat devra détenir un diplôme universitaire au Master 2 en Biologie (ou équivalent) au plus tard en juin 2022. Des connaissances en biologie et en neuroimagerie sont nécessaires, ce projet de thèse s'inscrivant dans le cadre d'une étude multimodale utilisant des données biologiques et d’imagerie. Des connaissances générales de logiciels tels que R et SPM sont également demandées ; leur utilisation étant commune pour le traitement des images et des données statistiques. Une expérience en laboratoire portant sur le vieillissement et/ou la maladie d'Alzheimer est un plus. Autonomie, prise de décision et interactions avec une équipe pluridisciplinaire (chercheurs, étudiants, ingénieurs, assistants-ingénieurs, cliniciens) sont des savoir-être indispensables au bon déroulement de cette thèse.
