DETAILS OF THE OFFER | To collaborate with, and facilitate relationships between, academic, clinical, professional services and external colleagues to capitalise on funding calls and maximise impact of translational research opportunities through the development of large-scale projects. To develop a comprehensive understanding of both clinical problems and the interests/capabilities of academics, clinical academics and other staff in order to facilitate collaborations that have strong commercial applications underpinned by funding to result in ‘real-world’ solutions. To identify and develop strong working relationships with the UCL hospitals, hospital research groups, clinical academics and charities to identify unmet clinical and patient needs that could be tackled using engineering-based solutions.
