The Neurobiology of Neurodegenerative Diseases Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville (FL) is looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral candidate for an NIH-funded study on the role of nuclear import receptors in reducing TDP-43 protein aggregation in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia (ALS-FTD) and other common neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
