We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join Dr. Antoine Louveau's neuroimmunology laboratory in the Department of Neurosciences at the Cleveland Clinic. The laboratory's research goal is to understand how the meningeal compartment influences glial and neuronal function in both health and disease. Particularly, the lab is interested in deciphering how the meningeal lymphatic system impacts brain maturation in the context of neurodevelopmental disorders. A successful candidate will use molecular, cellular, circuitry, and behavioral approaches to decipher the role of the meningeal lymphatic system. The Louveau Lab is seeking for highly independent, creative, and motivated individuals with a PhD and/or MD degree, who are aspiring to work in a diverse, enthusiastic, and collaborative environment. All candidates from a broad range of backgrounds will be considered but a background in neuroscience (cellular, molecular, or behavioral), immunology, or vascular biology is preferred. A strong desire to learn a new field/techniques and to be actively mentored is encouraged. The candidate will have the ability to direct the project towards his/her research interests. The Louveau Lab is determined to advocate for diversity and minority representation and therefore highly encourage applications from underrepresented minority and LGBTQIA people. Applicants should send a cover letter and CV to Dr. Antoine Louveau at louveaa@ccf.org.
