Texte de l'offre

We are looking for a post-doc research assistant in BOLD fMRI data analysis of cerebral small vessel disease (cSVD) patients and healthy individuals.
The project aims to find innovative and validated fMRI-based biomarkers for longitudinal studies of cSVD and therapeutic development in the field. The candidate will oversee data collection obtained on a 3T MRI human scanner and will perform BOLD fMRI data analysis with both standard and novel methodological approaches based on machine learning processes. The project is multidisciplinary: knowledge of advanced data analysis of fast BOLD fMRI sequences, human physiology and clinical evaluation will help to explore any source of information to set up a set of efficient and meaningful biomarkers.
Prof. Hugues Chabriat of APHP - Hôpital Lariboisiere, is responsible for the global imaging project in cSVD patients and supervises all clinical aspects related human studies. Dr Serge Charpak, Inserm - Institut de la Vision, a world-expert of neurovascular coupling physiology collaborates in data analysis and in the coordination of this research. Data collection will be performed at the CENIR located at the ICM (Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle), in Paris. The selected candidate will work at NeuroSpin - CEA Saclay, in Paris metropolitan area, under the supervision of Dr. Davide Boido.
Technical skills: Mastery of written and spoken English and of functional neuroimaging data analysis pipelines: post-processing and statistical modeling. Experience in quantitative data analysis with common fMRI analysis packages (SPM, FSL, etc.) and excellent programming skills in Python, Matlab or other similar languages. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms will be highly appreciated.
Education requirements: PhD degree or equivalent professional experience in data analysis, background in physics, engineering and/or neuroscience strongly preferred.
The position is for one-year, renewable, and will start on February or March 2021. Salary depends on seniority and professional experience and qualification.
The position is funded by AP-HP (Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris) in the RHU TRT_cSVD project (https://treat-svd.fr/).
The Employer is committed to equality and valuing diversity, and applications are particularly welcomed from women and minority candidates.
